Since its founding, Gekko-so has not provided wrapping paper or paper bags for its products. This was the founder's wish: if money were to be spent on packaging, it would be better to use it to keep prices low for customers who are still struggling financially, such as artists.

We have always asked customers to carry their purchases in their own bags whenever possible, or to wrap their purchases in paper bags they had kindly provided or in expired solo exhibition flyers that we have reused.

We are now officially asking customers to donate "unused paper bags" to Gekko-so, as awareness of recycling and reuse has become widespread.

If you have any paper bags that are no longer needed at home or at work, we would be very grateful if you could refer to the guidelines below and mail them to the following address at your own expense. We will make the best use of them in operating our store.

※ As space at our Ginza store is limited, we cannot accept mail at the Ginza store. We only accept items brought in person.

※ As a small token of our appreciation for your cooperation with recycling, we will present you with an "Ippuku Ticket" that entitles you to a free drink at any of Gekko-so's dining spaces♪ Please come and enjoy a relaxing break with Gekko-so's hospitality.
