These paints are carefully kneaded by hand, preserving the natural character of the pigments without adding unnecessary ingredients or making excessive adjustments that would hinder their color. They are characterized by their high saturation, clear transparency, and smooth, moist painting experience.

・Production process
1. Based on recipes perfected over many years, the pigments (color powders) and oils are precisely measured and placed in a giant bowl, then mixed to a certain extent using a mixer.
2. The mixture is passed through a dedicated three-roll mill (a kneading machine) to refine the pigment particles. Since the particle size and other properties vary depending on the pigment used, the roll speed and pressure are adjusted while understanding the characteristics of each pigment, and the mixture is slowly kneaded to achieve Gekkoso's unique color and viscosity. It takes about a full day for each color, with an average of 8 hours of continuous attention.
3. The paint is filled into aluminum tubes one by one using a filling machine.
4. Color name labels are applied, and the process is complete.
